Ramakrishna Mission Primary School, Tailevu: Long before the University of the South Pacific was started, Swami Rudranandaji purchased a big piece of land in Tailevu to start a University. The project was a catalyst to the founding of the present USP. Later the Mission started a primary school at the site. The present roll of the school is about 210 and it is one of the top five primary schools in the Eastern region.
